Tows

On the trip down the Tennessee and Tennessee-Tombigbee rivers, i was so excited to see commercial tows that I basically photographed every tow we came upon, add to that any good sized marine industrial area. Although the SF bay has its share of tow traffic it pales in comparison to the amount of activity that happens 24/7 in the middle of this country. I will also add that as protocol we radioed every tow operator for proper passing instructions, and they were always professional and polite, Ellen learned what to say in the shortest amount of words, and had a great time on the radio “see you on the one captain”
