We had a very busy July 4th weekend with many activities going on. Friends came by to visit the boat, the Fig Island party was fun, and we did our own fireworks then enjoyed the main event that night. It was so windy it even affected the Hilton fireworks and it didn’t look like there would be any sailing at all. The next day, the wind died down a bit and a half dozen boats took part in the second annual Potato Slough July 4th Regatta.
Georgiana Slough didn’t disappoint this year and we had a very relaxing trip (after squeezing under the Tyler Island Bridge). There isn’t as much of a beach as there has been in the past but we had the spot to ourselves and it was beautiful.
The delta loop is a pretty special place
