The next “idyllic New England village” on the list was Padanaram and we saw Round Hill as soon as we neared the point. Brian had worked here in 1984 when he brought Snow Goose from the BVI to Massachusetts.
It was a treat to come into the mooring field and stay the night.
The Mystic River itself was beautiful. I had been to Mystic as a kid but it was incredible to be able to stay inside Mystic Seaport on a boat. The floating docks are new, the facilities include a tv lounge, free new washer driers and individual bathrooms. It’s great to have a place to take a break during the day and it’s so special at night after the park closes, all the overnight guests can walk around the park. We did find time to go to Mystic Pizza!
And Janet came to hang out with us!
Nice commentary & photographs!
