We traveled for four days and saw many interesting and butte-iful sites (hint). Ellen loved driving across the salt flats in UT and seeing Ft. Bridger in WY. It was tiring but really cool to see so many different places especially after staying local for so long!
We arrived in Paducah, KY and went to the National Quilt Museum which had some incredible quilts. The one Brian is looking at is made of Wood. It was a bit surreal seeing things we had previously seen in other loopers blogs. Very strange to actually be Looping after planning for so long.
Our truck arrived and we waited and watched while Perfect Choice was lowered into the water. Next comes the task of putting her back together. Green Turtle Bay is a really lovely place to do it.
We also love the turtles, yes there are green turtles in the bay, hundreds of them.
We took the boat out onto Kentucky Lake on Friday and had lunch in Sledd Creek. The water was 92.5 degrees!! A real treat. Came back and went to Calvert City to do provisioning then to the Thirsty Turtle to catch an oldies band. The band and the atmosphere was great but the real treat was seeing fireflies again!
Today will be more work for Brian as the NEBO tracker isn’t working as well as it should. But we are being tracked. Message us if you want more info about tracking us as we move.
