The Kennedy Space Center as an attraction is done very well and provides information and entertainment for all ages. For those of us who have watched space launches on black and white TVs it was hard not to get emotional about the space program.
We started with a bus ride from the park to the working base. Passing alligators and eagles nests we saw the assembly building, the launch area, and the Space X building.
One exhibit has you in front of a stage with the actual control center from the Apollo missions. The screens show news reels and interviews with former astronauts and control center staff. Then you watch the countdown and a lift off.
Watching the Lunar Module descend was awesome.
The shuttle Atlantis exhibit was extremely cool. Similar to Apollo you begin in a theater. So, here we are standing with the screens all around us with a short film about the long road to creating the shuttle. Then the screen dissolves and the doors open into the rest of the exhibit and you walk past the real shuttle Atlantis . Did I tell you this place was cool !

The Challenger and Columbia exhibit was also done well.
We are still talking about the great time we had at the Space Center.
Impressive! Love all the pictures! So glad you’re enjoying your adventures!
